Nellie and Eve - From Sheep to Skein

Rooted in the landscape of West Wales, I work closely with neighbouring small farms to source beautiful, characterful fleeces. Each yarn tells a local story — with a journey of fewer than 50 miles from sheep to skein across my ‘Limited Edition’ and ‘Single Farm’ ranges.

Using traditional methods, I bring these yarns to life with plant dyes — grown in my own dye garden, gently foraged from hedgerows, or chosen from sustainable botanical extracts. The result is a collection of thoughtful, small-batch yarns shaped by place, season, and craft.

Traceability and provenance sit at the heart of everything I do. From flock to finished skein, each step is considered, allowing the natural qualities of the fibre to shine through. Subtle tonal shifts and seasonal variations are embraced, making every batch quietly unique and deeply connected to the land.
